Finance & Control Employee
Within Hudig & Veder Group Finance, you are part of a growing department, contributing to the friendly team as a Finance & Control Employee.You will be responsible for one or more companies within our group, depending on your experience. The focus lies on handling dossiers (purchasing, sales, banking) processed by the operational department. Additionally, you will participate in the monthly closing process, continuously improving our monthly reporting together.
Position
In your new role, you’ll work within a modern administration system (MS Dynamics BC) where change is the only constant. You will report directly to the CFO and receive support from other team members in your daily tasks. Your enthusiasm and energy will help drive the administration forward, providing other sub-departments with the necessary information. The management team requires more detailed and timely information, and we work together to meet that need.
Your main responsibilities in this role include:
- Properly process incurred costs in the administration and ensure everything is settled
- Review sales invoices, process purchase invoices, and manage payables
- Process bank statements and create journal entries
- Monitor general ledger accounts
- Analyze results compared to budget and previous periods
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports
What do you bring?
With your analytical and accurate nature, you ensure the correct processing of financial administration. You handle sensitive information with integrity and can quickly adjust when receiving data from the operations department. Additionally, you bring the following:
- A minimum of a completed MBO level 4 education in a financial field;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in shipping, claims, or logistics is a big plus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics;
- Strong written and spoken Dutch and English;
- Availability for at least 32 hours per week.
